Visser commits to Jamestown University

Graduated Nipawin Hawks forward Chase Visser has committed to the University of Jamestown based in Jamestown, North Dakota.

The Barrhead, Alta. product spent almost two years in Nipawin, the two-way centreman played 88 games in Nipawin scoring 15 goals and adding 20 assists, while facing the top talent on the other team each night for Head Coach Tad Kozun.

With several post-secondary options, Visser chose the Jimmies program due to the proximity to his home in central Alberta, the caliber of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) facilities, plus the classes to entire a chiropractic career following college.

Visser joins teammates Evan Forrest and Maguire Ratzlaff in the U.S. college ranks next season.
