Hawks hand out hardware at annual awards banquet

The Hawks held their annual awards banquet Saturday at the local legion as the team celebrated the season.

The club handed out 12 awards during the event, with many being voted on by the team and staff.

Hometown product Finley Radloff picked up two awards including the top forward and first star based on three star selections during the Hawks 27 home games this year. The 18-year-old led the team with 23 goals this season.

He spoke about the honours on Saturday.

 

 

Tyson Endall was also a big winner, the 18-year-old Chestermere, Alta. native was named the Fan Favourite and also took home the ‘For the Love of the Game’ award in honour of Joel ‘Goobs’ Verklan who passed away three years ago.
