The Hawks’ annual parent-billet weekend kicks off Friday with a showdown against the Yorkton Terriers at the ‘Cage.’
Each season Nipawin always schedules a pair of home games on a weekend and welcomes parents of the players to the town. Melfort will be in Nipawin Saturday. Friday’s meeting with Yorkton is the first of the campaign between the two clubs, Melfort also hasn’t met the Hawks this season, so parents will get the first look of the year against the Terriers and Mustangs.
On Friday the team will have a Remembrance Day ceremony prior to puck drop. During the game bidding will begin for the teams first annual Calcutta shootout.
Faceoff on both nights is 7 p.m.
