For the second time as a Nipawin Hawk, Liam McInnis has been named the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) Defenseman of the Week.
McInnis, 20, had five more assists in a pair of games against the Mustangs last weekend pushing the Regina, Sask. products point total to 23 on the season. McInnis is now 10th in SJHL defenseman scoring, and second in points per game by rearguards.
The Hawks return to action on Jan. 3 against Kindersley at the ‘Cage.’
