Hawks host Klippers to open 2024 calendar

The Hawks are back in action on home ice Wednesday as the Kindersley Klippers make their second trip to the northeast this Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season.

The game is a big one as each club is tied for fifth place in the SJHL standings at 30 points with 32 games played and 24 remaining.

Nipawin won the only other game between the two at the ‘Cage’ on Sept. 30 by the score of 7-1, the Klippers defended home ice and picked up a 5-3 win on Halloween at the West Central Event Centre.

Head Coach Tad Kozun spoke Wednesday morning.
