The Hawks will hit the highway to Flin Flon Friday for the first time this Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season looking to defuse the Bombers and get their first win versus their northern rivals this year.
Nipawin is coming off a 7-3 win over Kindersley on Wednesday, Flin Flon has been off since they blanked La Ronge 4-0 on Dec. 16.
The Hawks hosted the Bombers on opening night on Sept. 22 and fell 5-3, on Oct. 24 Flin Flon edged the Hawks 3-2 in Nipawin.
With a win the Hawks will get back to .500, and join Melfort and Melville as the only teams to knock off the Bombers at the Whitney Forum.
Faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m., the game will be on 750 Beach Radio starting at 7:15 p.m.
