The Hawks lost 8-0 in Flin Flon on Friday which extended the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) club’s losing streak to half a dozen games.
The loss was just the second time Nipawin has been blanked this year.
The Hawks are back in action Saturday at the ‘Cage’ when the Melfort Mustangs visit. The rivals have split their four games so far this season with Nipawin winning both in November before Melfort was credited with both wins in their games before the Christmas break, one being on a technicality.
