The Nipawin Hawks will host Weyburn with the playoff hopes in the balance on Wednesday.
Nipawin trails the Red Wings by four points for the final Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) postseason position, the Hawks have seven regular season games remaining, Weyburn has nine, making the final meeting of the year between the clubs so crucial.
With a regulation win the Hawks can close the gap to two points and await the Yorkton Terriers on Friday meanwhile the Red Wings will travel to La Ronge for games Friday and Saturday.
Faceoff for the massive matchup is 7 p.m.
Doors will open at 5:45 p.m., it’s anti-bullying night so fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game.
