Hawks hope to ground Klippers, climb closer to playoffs

The Hawks will look to build off their season success versus Kindersley Friday as Nipawin seeks some offence.

On Wednesday Nipawin was blanked 3-0 by the Millionaires at the ‘Cage.’ It was the third time in  five games the team has failed to hit the scoresheet.

Looking to bounce back with Kindersley in town, the Hawks have scored 22 goals in five games against the Klippers going into the final meeting of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season.

The Hawks are six points back of Kindersley in the playoff race, Nipawin is in a tie for 10th with the Yorkton Terriers.

Faceoff on Friday is 7 p.m. at the Centennial Arena. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
