Hawks beat Yorkton to keep playoff hopes alive

Mark Lafleur scored his first career Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) goal while Artem Hrabovetskyi batted home his 13th of the year, plus each forward added an assist in the Hawks 5-2 win in Yorkton on Tuesday.

Jacob Michleson, Evan Forrest, and Finley Radloff also hit the scoresheet as well, Tyson Endall made 34 saves for his seventh SJHL win in goal.

The Hawks kept their playoff hopes alive with the win and will be rooting for Humboldt to defeat Estevan on Wednesday. If the Bruins pick up a win at the Elgar Petersen Arena Nipawin will be forced to try and track down the Kindersley Klippers.

The Hawks need to win their final four games of the season beginning Friday in Melfort for any chance at the postseason.
