Buckberger awarded again; Hawks hit highway to meet Klippers

The Hawks will load up and hit the highway to Kindersley Tuesday for the second meeting of the season between the two Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) clubs. The Hawks won the first game on Sept. 30 by the score of 7-1.

Nipawin is looking for back-to-back wins after a 6-1 win over Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon at the ‘Cage.’ Ronan Buckberger had two assists in the game and four points last week, for his efforts the SJHL named the 17-year-old Ohio State commit as the Player of the Week. That is the Saskatoon products second honour of the season.

Faceoff Tuesday is 7:30 p.m. from the West Central Event Centre in Kindersley. The broadcast on Beach Radio begins at 7:15 p.m.
