Hawks Add Size and Skill with the Signing of Forward Mason Lowther

Nipawin, SK — The Nipawin Hawks are pleased to announce the signing of Mason Lowther, a forward from the Leduc Oil Kings U18 AAA program, ahead of the 2025–26 SJHL season.

Standing at 6’2” and 175 lbs, Lowther brings both size and offensive talent to the Hawks’ forward group. Known for his quick release and steady presence on the ice, he’s expected to be a strong contributor in all zones.

“Mason is a right-shot forward with a quick release,” said Assistant General Manager Dana Dirks. “He played a key role with Leduc last season and was counted on in all key areas. He was also part of the team’s leadership group — ashowing that he is a well-rounded player.”

Lowther’s ability to make an impact in high-pressure situations and his leadership qualities make him a valuable addition to the Hawks roster as the team continues to build toward a competitive campaign.

Please join us in giving a warm Hawks welcome to Mason and his family as they join the organization!
