The Nipawin Hawks Junior A Hockey Club will host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, June 17 at 7:00 p.m. upstairs at the Centennial Arena.
The meeting is open to the public, and all supporters, sponsors, and fans are encouraged to attend. Voting memberships will be available at the door for just $2.00.
The AGM will include updates from the organization’s leadership, including remarks from Head Coach Tad Kozun, the Board President, and other key figures. Attendees will hear a recap of the past season, a look at the upcoming budget, and plans for the future direction of the club.
In addition to regular business, the Hawks are actively seeking new board members. The organization is encouraging community-minded individuals with a passion for hockey and local involvement to consider putting their names forward.
“We rely heavily on the strength and dedication of our board,” said Rob Nicholas, President of the Nipawin Hawks. “It’s a great way to support the team and play a direct role in shaping its success.”
Board members are expected to serve on at least one internal committee and participate in fundraising and organizational efforts throughout the season. Nomination forms are available through the Hawks office or can be found online here.
The Hawks continue to be a cornerstone of the Nipawin community, and the AGM provides a valuable opportunity for fans and stakeholders to engage with the team beyond the rink.
