The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) announced their weekly award honorees Monday,
Among the award winners was Hawks’ defenseman Ronan Buckberger.
The 17-year-old Saskatoon product scored his first career goal in a 7-1 win over Kindersley Friday.
The former Saskatoon Contact added two assists in Friday’s win, Buckberger added another helper Saturday’s 4-2 win over Notre Dame.
Buckberger and the Hawks host the Battlefords on Friday in their next action.
