Nipawin’s offensive onslaught over the last three games has earned a trio Hawks Player of the Week honours.
Mason Karakochuk was named MVP of the Week thanks to three goals and five assists over the Hawks three victories. The 18-year-old now has 18 goals and 16 assists so far this year.
Spiritwood, Sask. product Konnor Watson had a breakout weekend scoring twice and adding six assists, he was named Rookie of the Week. Watson has eight goals and 27 points in his first year in Nipawin.
Captain Finley Radloff has found his scoring touch again scoring five times on the weekend along with a pair of assists in the Hawks first southern road swing sweep since 2017. The 19-year-old has 16 goals and 28 points.
The Hawks will put their four game winning streak on the line Wednesday against the Ice Wolves at home.
