The Hawks clawed back down two goals in the third period again against Notre Dame Sunday to secure a 5-3 win and their first southern sweep since 2017.
Down 2-0 in Wilcox in Nipawin’s final game against the Hounds ever, Carter Anderson got the Hawks on the board with his team leading 22nd goal, Jack Janzen deflected his fourth past Spencer Borsos, Mason Karakochuk added his 18th, Finley Radloff’s 16th was the game winner and Eric Hoiness deposited his 12th goal in to the empty net to cap the scoring in the Hawks fourth straight win.
Nik Trakakis won his second straight game in goal making 29 saves.
The Hawks host La Ronge Wednesday.
