The Nipawin Hawks continue to bolster their lineup this offseason signing 2007-born defenseman Clayton Nesbitt to a Letter of Intent for next season.
Nesbitt, 18, grew up in Calgary and played his elite minor hockey for the Flames AAA programs starting in 2021-22 in the AAA U15 ranks. Continuing his development his last season (2024-25), the 6’1″ blueliner scored a pair of goals and added five assists in 21 games. Nesbitt played three postseason games as well.
Throughout his U17 and U18 seasons Nesbitt has played 16 playoff games bringing some experience to a Hawks’ group with just Finley Radloff having playoff experience on the roster.
