The Nipawin Hawks have signed Kaden Skrenek from the Airdrie Bisons U18 AAA program to a Letter of Intent beginning next Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season.
Skrenek, 18, was born in Airdrie and played his minor hockey in the community elevating all the way to the AAA U18 Bisons program. He spent three seasons with the U18 club suiting up in 113 games in the regular season and another six in the playoffs. Last year Skrenek scored 13 goals and added 12 assists in 37 games.
Hawks Associate General Manager Dana Dirks spoke about the signing of the 6’1″, 180 pound forward.
