Notre Dame kept taking leads over the Hawks Wednesday afternoon at the SJHL Showcase, but in the end Nipawin survived the scare and held off the Hounds 7-5 in an offensive affair in Warman.
Finley Radloff, Landon Pappas, Chase Visser, Luke Chase, Artem Hrabovetskyi, Ronan Buckberger, and Evan Forrest all scored in the win, Damon Cunningham battled in goal making 29 stops on 34 shots for his second straight victory.
Next up is the Yorkton Terriers on Thursday at the Showcase, faceoff is 10:30 a.m. at the Legends Centre.
