The Nipawin Hawks are proud to announce that goaltender #31 Nik Trakakis has committed to Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he will continue his academic and athletic journey at the NCAA Division III level.
Trakakis, a steady presence between the pipes for the Hawks, showcased his skill, composure, and determination throughout his time in Nipawin.
“We’re thrilled to see Nik take the next step in his hockey career,” said the Hawks coaching staff. “He’s put in the work, stayed focused, and earned this opportunity. We know he’ll be a great fit at Chatham both on and off the ice.”
Chatham University, located in the heart of Pittsburgh, is a respected academic institution with a competitive NCAA DIII hockey program. Trakakis will join the Chatham Cougars as they continue to build a strong presence in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).
