Hawks claw back late; pick up point vs. North Stars

Carter Anderson scored with 10 seconds left in regulation Tuesday forcing overtime earning the Hawks a point in a 4-3 shootout loss to the North Stars in Nipawin.

Konnor Watson opened the scoring with his fourth career Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) goal, Mason Karakochuk notched his sixth of the campaign, Anderson has seven.

Gage Roberts made 29 stops in the loss, the 18-year-old Fort McMurray, Alta. product stopped three of four in the shootout.

Nipawin will host Yorkton at the ‘Cage’ on Friday before capping the month of November in Humboldt against the Broncos.
