The Hawks have signed another defenseman for the 2024 – 2025 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) season.
Nipawin has signed 6’4″ blueliner Jack Mitchell from the Okotoks Oilers AAA U18 program to a Letter of Intent for next year.
The Nanton, Alta. product is a 2006-born rearguard that just celebrated his 18th birthday. Mitchell was the captain of the Oilers U17 team last year that won the Alberta provincial championship.
He wears a letter this year with the U18 Oilers, he has one goal and four assists in 29 games played this season.

Nipawin is back in action Friday when the Hawks travel to La Ronge to meet the Ice Wolves.
