The Hawks were on the wrong side of another tight encounter with the Ice Wolves falling 3-1 in La Ronge on Tuesday.
After the Ice Wolves opened the scoring, 17-year-old rookie Will Whitter snapped his sixth career goal past Logan Falk tying the score.
La Ronge retook the lead shortly after and capped the scoring into an empty net with Nathan Claydon on the bench for an extra attacker.
Claydon was brilliant in goal making 39 saves including 23 in the second period alone.
The Hawks are back on the ice at home on Friday for Teddy Bear toss and food drive night.
It’s also parent-billet weekend as Estevan visits for back-to-back games on Dec. 6 and 7.
