Nipawin Hawks Sign Saskatoon Forward Davey Fischer

The Nipawin Hawks are pleased to announce the signing of forward Davey Fischer for the upcoming season.

Fischer, an 08-born forward from Saskatoon, spent the 2025–26 season with the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA program. In 44 games this season, Fischer recorded 22 goals and 15 assists for 37 points, helping lead the Contacts back into the playoffs.

Hawks Head Coach and General Manager Tad Kozun says the organization is excited about what Fischer will bring to the lineup.

“We are excited to have Davey signed for next season. Over the past few seasons his game has developed into the player we thought he could become, and he is also a great leader. He helped get the Contacts back into the playoffs this season, and we know he will be a great addition to our team next year.”

Fischer’s offensive production and leadership with the Contacts make him a promising addition as the Hawks continue building their roster for the future. The organization looks forward to welcoming him to Nipawin and seeing his development continue in the black and gold.
