About Us

The Nipawin Hawks are a proud Junior A hockey team with a strong presence in the community. As a non-profit organization, we rely on dedicated individuals to help us grow and engage with fans, sponsors, and local businesses. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Marketing Director to manage and

sell advertising opportunities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and sell advertising packages for businesses and individuals interested in supporting the Nipawin Hawks.

● Work with the Board of Directors to create attractive advertising opportunities, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals.

● Identify potential sponsors and partners within the community and beyond.

● Maintain relationships with current advertisers and seek new opportunities for growth.

● Negotiate sponsorship agreements and ensure fulfillment of advertising commitments.

● Represent the Nipawin Hawks professionally in all sponsorship and marketing engagements.

Qualifications

● Experience in sales, marketing, sponsorship, or related fields is an asset.

● Strong communication and negotiation skills.

● Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.

● Familiarity with hockey and sports marketing is an asset but not required.

● Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and community members.

Compensation

This is a commission-based position with different commission levels based on sales performance. The more advertising revenue you generate, the higher your earnings. This is a work from home job.

Work Environment

This is a work-from-home position. There is a small workspace available for occasional use if needed at the Nipawin Hawks office.
