The Nipawin Hawks are pleased to announce the return of two of the organization’s most important annual fundraisers: the Hawks Internet Auction and the Tobin Lake Walleye Championship.
The Nipawin Hawks Internet Auction will officially launch on February 18 and run through February 25. This event has become a staple for the organization each year, and the Hawks are once again grateful for the tremendous support received from local businesses, sponsors, and the wider community who generously donate items.
Fans and supporters will have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of items, including agriculture products, sporting goods, entertainment packages, and household items. The auction offers something for everyone, while also providing an important opportunity to support Hawks hockey.

In addition to the auction, the Hawks have also announced the dates for their premier summer fundraiser, the Nipawin Hawks Tobin Lake Walleye Championship. This tournament hosts 100 teams and continues to grow each year, welcoming anglers from across Saskatchewan, throughout Canada, and even from the United States.
For 2026, the tournament has increased its prize pool to $70,310 (based on a full 100-team field), making it one of the larger and most anticipated fishing tournaments in the region. Over the years, the Tobin Lake Walleye Championship has become one of the area’s marquee events, thanks to the incredible support from participants, sponsors, and volunteers.
The Nipawin Hawks are a non-profit organization and take great pride in operating as a no pay-to-play program, allowing players to focus fully on their hockey development and education without financial barriers.
