NEW ASSISTANT COACH HIRED!

The Nipawin Hawks are pleased to announce the hiring of Jeremy Blumes as Associate Coach for the next two seasons.

Blumes has been involved in hockey for over twenty years in a number of roles: Player, Coach (Junior A, B, Midget AAA, AA), General Manager, Scout, Mentor, Coach Coordinator, Board Member, Consultant, Web Developer, as well as Commissioner of the Calgary Summer Hockey League.

Blumes joins the Hawks after two seasons in Golden, BC (KIJHL) as Head Coach and General Manager having engineered a remarkable turnaround for that franchise.

Jeremy Blumes says: “I am thrilled to be joining a first-class organization in the Nipawin Hawks.  Working with Doug Johnson, a Head Coach, and General Manager that has a tremendous track record of player development and winning games in this great league is an excellent opportunity. I am eager to do my part in building a championship program that the Town of Nipawin, our members, partners, and fans will be proud of.”
