Second-year Hawks forward Eric Hoiness has been recognized for an excellent month of February.
The 19-year-old Saskatoon, Sask. product was named the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Saskatchewan Player of the Month.
Hoiness scored five goals and added 11 assists in 13 games during a busy month for Nipawin. He now has 12 goals and 29 assists this season and has moved up to 26th overall in SJHL scoring.
The Hawks travel to Melville on Tuesday for their final meeting of the year against the Millionaires.
