The Hawks have sent Julian Laqua and Diego Cazac to teams in British Columbia.
Both players are in their junior hockey rookie campaigns in Nipawin and were moved for player development fees.
Cazac suited up in seven games for the Hawks, he had three assists, he will join former Nipawin Assistant Coach Levi Stuart in 100 Mile House with the Wranglers in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL).
Laqua, an Orion, Alta. product will join the Nelson Leafs, also a team in the KIJHL. He had one assist in nine games with the Hawks.
Nipawin’s next action is on Saturday at home against the Flin Flon Bombers. Faceoff is 7 p.m.
