Hawks return home from south after loss in Weyburn

The Hawks dropped a 6-2 decision to the Weyburn Red Wings Saturday night to conclude a three game road trip through southern Saskatchewan.

Nipawin got goals from 2005-born captain Finley Radloff and 17-year-old Will Whitter in the game. Radloff’s second of the year was his second powerplay tally, Whitter has three goals in his Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) rookie year.

Corben Schnurr made 37 saves in the loss.

The Hawks are home to La Ronge on Tuesday.
