Hawks Look Ahead to Final Regular Season Game After Flin Flon Loss

The Nipawin Hawks were on the road Tuesday night in Flin Flon to take on the Flin Flon Bombers, but it was a tough night as the Hawks fell to the Bombers.

Flin Flon opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Lies to take an early lead.

The Hawks responded in the second period with their lone goal of the night. Defenseman #6 Brady Seabrook (4) found the back of the net, assisted by #4 Braeden Jockims (13) and #11 C Finley Radloff (19) to even things up temporarily.

In the third period, the Bombers pulled away with four goals. Lalumiere, Morozov, and Lies each scored before Ewen sealed the game with an empty-net marker.

Shots on goal favored Flin Flon 33–21.

With the result, the Hawks now sit 5th overall in the SJHL standings, just behind the Weyburn Red Wings.

The Nipawin Hawks will wrap up the regular season Friday, March 13 when they host the Melfort Mustangs.
