The Flin Flon Bombers visit the ‘Cage’ Tuesday for the final time this Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SHL) season.
The eighth matchup of the campaign between the two northern rivals will cap the season series, the Bombers have won six of the seven so far, but in the last showdown the Hawks blanked the Bombers 3-0 and snapped a 26-game Flin Flon point streak while the Hawks snapped a lengthy losing skid to the Bombers in the process.
Gage Roberts earned his second shutout of the year in that game, the 18-year-old netminder is expected to start Tuesday.
Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Centennial Arena, Brandt Industries 50/50 tickets are available now for residents in Saskatchewan.
