The Flin Flon Bombers will make their first trip to Nipawin Saturday for a showdown with the Hawks at the ‘Cage.’
Nipawin hasn’t played since Oct. 29, a 3-0 loss on home ice to the Melville Millionaires. Newcomer Nathan Claydon was solid in is Hawks debut making 33 saves.
He is expected to start tonight as the Hawks meet Flin Flon for the first time since the season opened on Sept. 20, a 4-3 Bomber win at the Whitney Forum.
Acquisition Aiden Bruce will suit up making his Hawks’ debut, Noah Heinrich suffered a minor injury in practice and will not dress after coming to Nipawin from the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
