Tonight, the Nipawin Hawks fell short to the Weyburn Red Wings with a final score of 6–2.
The Hawks scored in the first period with a goal from Jack Drake (1), assisted by Sean Shiels (3). In the third, they added another on the power play from #21 Ashton Tait (3), assisted by #20 Raydr Wallington (4).
The Red Wings responded with goals from Schmid (2), Bierd, McIntyre, Delay, and Redlick.
The Hawks are back in action at The Cage on Tuesday, October 21, as they take on the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM — come out and fill The Cage.
