The Hawks dropped a 1-0 decision to Weyburn at the ‘Cage’ on Friday.
The Red Wings midway through the first period, Gage Roberts made 21 saves overall but so did Angelo Zol in the Weyburn goal shutting Nipawin out.
The Hawks’ powerplay was productive but couldn’t score despite many chances, Weyburn’s man advantage was also goalless.
Nipawin is home to the Notre Dame Hounds Sunday at 3 p.m.
