The Hawks were outscored 9-2 in Flon Flon on Wednesday.
Scoring for Nipawin was Konnor Watson, who has six goals in his Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) rookie season. Fellow former Prince Albert Minto teammate rookie Will Whitter added his 10th goal of the campaign.
The Hawks travel to Kindersley for a pair of games this weekend starting Saturday, followed by a Sunday game beginning at 4 o’clock.
