The Nipawin Hawks came out strong at the Cage but finished on the wrong side of a 4–1 score against the Flin Flon Bombers.
The Hawks’ lone goal came on the power play when #21 Ashton Tait found the back of the net, set up by #18 Jack Janzen. The boys kept battling until the final buzzer, feeding off the energy from Hawks Nation.
The loss stings, but the focus shifts quickly—tomorrow night the Hawks head to La Ronge.
