It was a complete team effort from start to finish, as the Hawks turned in a strong, structured 60-minute performance while Scott turned aside every shot he faced to secure the shutout.
Assistant Coach Hutton praised his goaltender’s performance, saying, “He did what he needed to do. The team did well keeping the middle open.” He also added about the team’s approach, “Keep it simple, keep the puck up front, and let our forwards do what they do best.”
With the win, the Hawks continue to build momentum as they head back home to the Cage for their next matchup against the Bombers Tuesday at 7PM.
