Hawks battle hard in one-goal loss to Terriers

The Hawks had a familiar result Friday in Yorkton, but the one-goal setback against the Terriers went down to the wire finishing 3-2.

Nipawin trailed 3-0 early in the second after the Terriers scored twice in the first and in the first minute of the second, but the Hawks clawed back.

Nipawin outshot Yorkton 13-5 in the third period and 20-14 over the final two periods, but Ethan Farrow earned the Terriers the win.

Gage Roberts was stellar in goal for the Hawks making 32 stops.
