The Nipawin Hawks are pleased to announce the return of 2005-born forward Braeden Jockims, a Saskatoon product who brings experience, scoring touch, and proven junior production back to the black and gold.
Jockims previously suited up for the Hawks during the 2023–24 season, appearing in 28 games and registering 15 goals and 10 assists. His strong performance earned him opportunities at the next level, leading to 31 games in the WHL with the Portland Winterhawks, followed by 45 games in the NAHL with the Minot Minotauros.
Now, the Hawks are excited to welcome him back into the fold.
Head Coach and GM Tad Kozun spoke highly of the addition:
“We are really excited to add Jocko back to our team here in Nipawin. He had success when he was here a couple years ago and adds to the depth of our forward group. He will be a great addition and we are looking forward to having him back and helping us for the rest of the year.”
Jockims’ return strengthens the Hawks’ offensive depth and adds another proven scorer to the lineup as the club continues its push through the second half of the SJHL season.
