The Nipawin Hawks faced off against the Estevan Bruins tonight in Estevan.

The opening period saw Estevan’s Rennie strike first, but the Hawks answered back with a goal from #10 Will Whitter (5), assisted by #18 Jack Janzen (3) to even things up heading into the break.

In the second frame, Estevan pulled ahead with two goals from Holt, giving the Bruins a 3–1 advantage after forty minutes of play.

The Bruins continued their push in the third, adding four more goals — from Elson, Rennie, Williams, and Dupuis — to close out the game.

SOG: Bruins 46, Hawks 29

The Hawks fell short on the scoreboard tonight, but they’ll regroup quickly as they hit the ice again tomorrow to take on the Weyburn Red Wings for the first time this season.

Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM at the Whitecap Resources Centre.
